I design all my illustrations, brochures, postcards, greeting cards, and business cards using the Fine Arts Toolbox software. It has all the features I need, so I don’t have to buy expensive graphics software packages.
I can insert multiple clips from a single photo, and adjust the colors, brightness and scale of each clip. Then, I can draw any shapes, such as, lines, arcs, circles, stars, polygons, or any irregular shapes, and adjust the colors, line weight and line pattern. I can scale and rotate the shapes and pictures, and stack them on top or below each other.
I can print my design on the printer that I already have. I can even setup the software to print my art in columns and rows, so I can print greetings cards and business cards and don’t have to copy the graphics in the columns and rows beforehand.
This software is easy to use, and I learn more every day from the unobtrusive hints that display each time I do something new.
I can undo any edits that I made and then reverse the undo when I change my mind.
I can join pictures, text and other graphics together, and then select them in one click of my mouse when I want to move them around the canvas.
I can paste the photos from my vacation together, add titles and notes and then turn the whole page into a picture that I can email to my friends. Or, I might just print the page and make a professionally looking photo album.
